Choose a collection and appearance
- Open Themes from the web menu or Settings.
- Choose a coordinated collection, such as Evergreen.
- Select light, dark, or follow-device appearance.
- Review a task list and a dialog to see the result.
Try Dynamic palettes
Dynamic is an optional web collection strategy that rotates through palettes on a chosen interval. Next palette advances it; choosing a fixed collection stops rotation.
Appearance remains a separate choice, so using dark mode does not require giving up the chosen palette strategy.
Understand what stays unchanged
Category, tag, status, and priority colors carry your own organizational meaning. Changing the surrounding theme does not intentionally recolor that data.
Web appearance preferences are saved in this browser. Do not expect changing a web palette to automatically change every device.
On native mobile
Use More → Settings for appearance and color palette. Native light, dark, and follow-system choices use the phone’s own controls and layout. Native surface options are separate from the web theme chooser.
