Create an export
- Open Tasks and long-press a task to enter selection mode.
- Select each task you want included. Check the selection count.
- Open Task actions and choose Export.
- Choose a destination in the phone’s share sheet, such as saving the file. Review the destination before sharing with another person.
What the file contains
The CSV contains title, notes, task state, priority, categoryId, tagIds, due date/time, start date, completion date, recurrence rule and parentTaskId. Category, tag and parent values are identifiers, not display names. It is not a complete account backup and does not embed file attachments.
Export does not delete or move the original tasks. A share-sheet cancellation does not undo your task selection.
Availability and privacy
Native CSV export is available through selected-task actions. Clone is disabled. This native source does not offer the web task-import workflow.
Exported notes and titles can contain private information. Check the file and receiving app before sending it. Documentation screenshots use fictional tasks.
